BACHELOR OF PHARMACY (B. Pharm)

Course duration: 4 Years
Course overview: It develops understanding of the science and development of medicines, and the examination of the chemical structures in relation to the human body. The programme also tracks the process of medicine from initial drug discovery through patient use and review. The programme has been designed to integrate the teaching of basic science along with the practice of pharmacy. The course emphasizes the importance of theoretical study, laboratory experiments and also of interdisciplinary communication and research. On the whole, it prepares a strong base for candidates who opt for higher study and research programme in the study of medicines. Admission criteria:The applicant must be a citizen of India and should have passed the H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board in a regular class mode with the following: . Individual pass marks in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics and/ Biology. . Minimum of 50% marks in the above subjects from TBJEE/ Any other entrance examination approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi or as per University norms and for direct admission students,’ minimum marks is as per PCI & University norms. . Applicant will be in good mental and health, the than domicile candidate.

LATERAL ENTRY (B. Pharm)
Course duration: 3 Years
Admission through Lateral Entry to the 2nd year (3rd semester level) of the undergraduate degree course offered by Government/Private Pharmacy Colleges/ Universities and open to candidates who have either passed diploma course in Pharmacy from any polytechnic/ Institute with at least overall 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY (D. Pharm)

Admission intake: 60 seats
Course duration: 2 Years
Course overview: Diploma in Pharmacy is a Diploma certificate course. The course consists of two academic years and practical training session. On course completion (academic program and practical training), successful candidates will get Diploma certificate from the respective board. Admission criteria: Candidates should have passed H Sc. (10 + 2) Pass in Science with overall 45% marks Candidates should have passed H Sc. (10 + 2) Pass in Science.
